President Obama previewed his proposals for job creation and reviving the economy to thousands of supportive union members in Detroit on Labor Day.

The speech at a rally sponsored by the Metropolitan Detroit AFL-CIO came just days before Obama's Thursday evening address before a joint session of Congress where he plans to oultine specific proposals to spur job creation and resuscitate the economy.

Whether He Wants It Or Not, Bobby Jindal's Got David Vitter's Endorsement


Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) and Senator David Vitter (R-LA)

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal's (R) reelection campaign just got the prostitution scandal bump.

A few months after Jindal publicly declined to endorse Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) for reelection last year, Vitter is being the bigger person and endorsing Jindal for another term as governor anyway.

Team Jindal told reporters in Louisiana the governor is "appreciative of the senator's support."
