Just who did former HarperCollins publisher Judith Regan accuse of telling her to lie about her relationship with former NYC police commissioner Bernard Kerik?

As readers may recall, in the midst her lawsuit with her former employer News Corporation, Regan reportedly claimed via her legal team that a senior News Corp executive had asked her to lie about her relationship with then NYC Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik. Kerik was at the time being considered as the next homeland security chief.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) reeeeally doesn't like the New York Times.

In an interview with The Hill, King responded to an editorial printed in the Times over the weekend that rebuked King for his plans to hold hearings on the "radicalization" of American Muslims. "I'm absolutely delighted that The New York Times would attack me," King said of the article. "I have nothing but contempt for them. They should be indicted under the Espionage Act. ... The New York Times is just basically being a mouthpiece for political correctness."

The New York Times Magazine is up with this weekend's massive interview with President Obama by the paper's Peter Baker. The story in a nutshell? Obama is ready to reboot after a tough first two years in office.

From the story:

While proud of his record, Obama has already begun thinking about what went wrong -- and what he needs to do to change course for the next two years. He has spent what one aide called "a lot of time talking about Obama 2.0" with his new interim chief of staff, Pete Rouse, and his deputy chief of staff, Jim Messina. During our hour together, Obama told me he had no regrets about the broad direction of his presidency. But he did identify what he called "tactical lessons." He let himself look too much like "the same old tax-and-spend liberal Democrat." He realized too late that "there's no such thing as shovel-ready projects" when it comes to public works. Perhaps he should not have proposed tax breaks as part of his stimulus and instead "let the Republicans insist on the tax cuts" so it could be seen as a bipartisan compromise.

Christine O'Donnell's campaign is facing yet another set of questions about her background, and this time it's on a really weird line of discussion -- whether her father was Philadelphia's local Bozo the Clown. Seriously.

As Mark Leibovich at the New York Times reports, the O'Donnell family's past claims that her father Daniel O'Donnell had worked as Bozo sparked an uprising of online commenters who insisted that no, Daniel O'Donnell was not listed on Wikipedia as having been one of the many regionally licensed Bozo the Clown TV hosts.
